Well my Drupal installation failed miserably, so lets give WordPress a shot and see if it goes any better.

I’ve been working on a simple web-app for myself to catalog all the (many) files I have stored on DVD-Rs and I used WP’s database connection scheme as a basis for my own. While perusing the WP code-base, I thought it looked rather elegantly written and I decided I’d work with it some more to get used to how a web-app should feel. I’ll look at adding the browsing capabilities of my app to WP if and when I actually get it running properly ;).
