Well its been a pretty hectic week =/ Sorry I’ve been out of touch for so long, I just haven’t had the time or the opportunity to sit down and write anything. I’ve got a lengthy post written up detailing my recent events, but here it is in short:
- Thursday: Went up to the cottage so we’d be ready to work all day Friday on the bunkie
- Friday: Calvin decided to swallow something, so we spent the entire day driving him to Bancroft and then to Peterborough for X-Rays =/
- Saturday: We god some building done during the morning, but then we had to break for the Corn Roast (which was absofuckinglutely amazing, by the way)
- Sunday: A bit more work on the bunkie and then back to Peterborough to pack for school =(
- Monday: Moved into my new place at 28 Cecil; its alright so far, but as of yet I don’t have any internet. We’re phoning today or tomorrow to get it ordered. I want it under someone elses name in case anything ever comes back to it, but my roomie that’s going to be ordering it seems to think Bell is a better option because they don’t have a bandwidth cap; seems to me they do. At $55.95/mo, I think that Rogers Hi-Speed Extreme is the best bet at 8Mbps d/l, 800Kbps u/l, 100GB/mo bandwidth cap. If you know of an reasonable internet plan without a bandwidth cap, please let me know!
So anyway, that’s the current state of Scott. I’ll return once I actually have internet in my house, so I will see you then =)
p.s. I got into APS501 - Leadership Development; W00H00!

Well my roommate has signed up for some Bell service that apparently I didn’t find on the internet.. its $660 for the whole year, unlimited bandwidth, and comes with a wireless router/modem.. we’ll see how it goes.
That translates into about $13.75/mo for me (we’re splitting it four ways); so if its fast and has a fairly high cap (even if it isn’t unlimited, as long as I can watch all the TV I want to I’m good) then it will turn out all right. /shrug
