I think that’s going to be my slogan for the rest of the term. I missed two very important events today due to Spacesystems Design: the Slashdot party at Einstein’s, and the release of Gutsy Gibbon. Let me put it this way: I’m ready for this course to end.

On a totally unrelated note, I still have to decide what I want to buy. For roughly the same price, I can get a Lenovo ThinkPad with 2GB RAM, Core 2 Duo T7300, DL-DVD burner etc etc etc, or I could get a new desktop computer with 4GB RAM, C2D E6800, and 5×500GiB hard drives to put in my old computer case and use as a 2TB network RAID server.

Both options have their merits, but I’ve been having trouble deciding which one I will benefit from more. As Randall Munroe said it (click the picture to see it full…):
