I must not like the idea of getting back to school since I seem to have a tendency to write long posts on Sunday afternoons. It’s a gloriously sunny day today, if a little cold at a few degrees below zero. The wind doesn’t help matters too much, but it is still nice in the sunshine. I went for a nice long walk with a friend today, down around Queen Street, then up through all the little in-between streets West of Spadina, up past College and almost to Bloor (not quite as West as Bathurst), then back down Huron.
I brought my camera with me, but I was rather disappointed. I didn’t run into anything I felt needed taking a picture of. The other day (Friday, I guess it was?) I went for a walk, but I didn’t bring my camera; I saw about 10 things along the way I wanted to snap a picture of. Oh well, Murphy can’t be reasoned with I guess.
Hawaii
In other news, as I typed this post, my mom phoned. She is back safe and sound from her school trip to Hawaii =D She said they had a lot of fun, and that the next time she goes on a trip like that, she’s going to bring a little recording device to record what the earpieces (that they wear on tours) say since she can never remember it all.
Well, after that little interruption (welcome though it may be), I seem to have lost the train of thought I was following. So instead I guess I’ll wrap it up and get back to working on my thesis. I need to come up with a thesis outline today, to bring to my supervisor for approval, and for Tuesday I need to finish up the next stage of my code.
