Congratulations on finding my semi-permanent home on the web. My name is Scott Armitage and I am a 22 year old Aerospace Engineering graduate at the University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies (often referred to on this site as UTIAS). This experience isn’t so much of a blog as it is my own exploration of PHP, MySQL, and the many types of web applications you can create with these technologies.

Upon the release of StarCraft II, I will be evaluating my desire to play it for an extended period of time. Should the answer be “Yes”, we will undoubtedly form a guild (or a clan or whatever) called , and this website will be devoted to running the necessary community resources.

The website design is based on the Minimalia WordPress theme by Dale Mugford and Matthew Good. It is a very clean, well-written theme that serves as an excellent code base upon which I can add my own modifications. With many services, plugins and AJAX scripts already in place, it is easier than ever before to customize the interface experience.
